One thing we need to understand is that in order for change to come, we have to move when the Lord says so. When we talk about change, it covers so many areas in our lives. God could be speaking this year for you to change jobs, change your address, change your location, change your attitude, change your prayer life etc.

It's hard to believe that we have come to the end of another year, but as we are preparing to embark upon the Holiday Season, I would like to share a story that blessed me tremendously that was sent to me via e-mail. Weights are designed to slow us down. Anything that comes to slow you down from doing the work of the Lord you have to strip it off. Picture yourself with a chain and ball around your ankles or your neck; how long would it take you to get from point (A) to point (B)? What condition would you be in when you get there? Ask God to show you what your weights are and choose this year to let them drop off.

The Lord promises to protect His people from dangers seen and unseen, remember durning these difficult times God promises to uphold you with His right hand. He (The Lord) is a very present help in the time of trouble.

If you have ever given birth to a baby, the very first time you laid eyes on that child the joy you felt inside could not be explained. I thought about how it feels being a proud parent when I look at my own son and realize that I have to love him unconditionally no matter where he is in life.
